Road crews will be closing lanes Rainbow Boulevard between Sunset and Russell roads starting Monday evening.
Rainbow is going to be down to one lane in both directions from 9 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday. Moving forward, this same lane reduction will be in place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings daily. Lane shifts will also be in place from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Clark County is widening the road and adding a new flood control tunnel underneath it. The project kicks off Monday and is expected to finish April of 2017.
