A tropical low or tropical storm Paine is pushing onto shore allowing rain chances to increase for the valley today, tomorrow and Thursday!

Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies will be common with our best rain chances starting at 5 a.m. this morning and continuing until 5 p.m. tonight. However, rain chances do extend clear into the overnight and into Wednesday morning.

Light to moderate showers will be common with a small potential for isolated thunderstorms. High temperatures will range between 83 and 88 degrees throughout the city with winds increasing through the afternoon. 10-20 mph winds will be common with an occasional gust between 25 and 30 mph.

Winds extend into Wednesday where rain chances are moderate throughout the day. The best chances of rain will be between 2 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday.

By Thursday afternoon or early evening, the chance of rain will decrease but winds pick up for a last push. As it stands, winds will peek between 25 and 35 mph sustained with potential gusts around 50 mph Thursday night and Friday morning. Good news though, the winds will die down in time for the weekend.
