Several Raiders legends were among a long list of stars who turned out at the 21st annual Power of Love gala supporting the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Jim Plunkett, Tom Flores, Lester Hays and Napolean McCallum were among the Raiders stars rubbing elbows with some of Las Vegas' biggest names at the fundraiser to help fund research into brain health.

The Raiders legends spoke about their love for Oakland, but acknowledged that something had to be done to replace the aging Coliseum.

Jim Plunkett, who won two Super Bowls with the silver and black, said the team and owner did everything they could to make a deal work in the Bay Area.

Plunkett said he thinks the fans in Oakland will eventually come around.

"It was heartbreaking. I've seen those fans for so long I know them by name when I walk out of the stadium in Oakland," he said. "[When we] moved to LA at first they were ticked off no question about it. They are loyal fans and they came back in droves when we came back to Oakland and I am pretty sure I think it will happen again."

Others on the Red Carpet included chef Michael Mina and Las Vegas native Andre Agassi.

Both spoke glowing of the research being done at the Lou Ruvo Center to find cures for diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis among other diseases.
