A man was transported to the hospital after falling from the Flamingo Road overpass on Interstate 15 Sunday evening.
Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating whether he fell or if he jumped on purpose. It was originally reported that the man was suicidal.
Las Vegas police reported they made contact with the man and tried to talk him down.
Police said he jumped from a fence and grabbed on to a sign. Police added it looked like he was trying to work his way back up the sign when the fall happened around 7:42 p.m.
He was taken to UMC Trauma. His condition was unknown.
The freeway was closed for several hours after the possibly suicidal subject was first reported.
