RENO, Nev. (AP) — Washoe County sheriff's deputies are searching for a suspect involved in a possible road rage incident in southwest Reno's Hidden Valley near the Veterans Parkway.

The sheriff's office says it's investigating reports of shots fired at about 12:45 p.m. Monday near Pembroke Drive and Tamarisk Drive.

An identified driver told deputies a man driving a white pickup with a flatbed cover fired at least one shot into the ground during an argument over an incident that began on Veterans Parkway.

The pickup driver fled before deputies arrived. No one was hurt.

Secret Witness is offering an unspecified reward and deputies are asking for help from anyone who may have been a witness, including the occupants of a blue sedan who were in the area at the time.
