Police said a Henderson man may have had a medical episode before a fatal crash Sunday night near the Las Vegas Strip.
The 50-year-old man was driving a 2006 Dodge Caravan on Jay Sarno Way at the intersection with South Frank Sinatra Drive around 8:40 p.m. From a stop at a red traffic signal, the Dodge continued straight west through the intersection and went straight over the west curb line of South Frank Sinatra Drive. The front of the Dodge then hit a block wall at about 25-30 mph.
The driver was transported to UMC Trauma where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death remains under investigation by the Clark County coroner.
