Sports is no longer something to watch in the sports book at a local casino.

Las Vegas has a winning professional hockey team, a brand-new soccer team, a women's basketball team and a NFL team on the way.

But that's not all. Polo America will host its first outdoor grass polo game, Las Vegas Polo Classic, on April 14 and 15 at Star Nursery Field near Sam Boyd Stadium.

Polo America is inviting four high-profile polo teams to competed. There will be two days of polo, fashion, gourmet food and drink.

Millionaire's Row will feature luxury tailgating tents, boutiques and displays. Attendees will be able to purchase anything from new Range Rovers to private jets to new clothes.

In addition to the matches, there will be formal runway shows, the traditional champagne half-time divot stamp, a hat contest, a Land Rover Million Dollar Road Rally, tailgating contest and more.

VIP tailgating tents are available for $1,500 (single day) and $2,500 (both days). The tents feature a table, chairs, china, silverware, wine glasses and two gourmet wicker picnic baskets with food (each basket will feed four people).

Semi-private VIP tailgaiting tents are available for $800 each day.

And if you have always wanted to learn how to play polo, the California Polo Club will be offering lessons before and after the games for $225 per person.

Gates will open at 11:30 a.m. each day. The first game will be played at noon both days and the second game will begin at 2 p.m.
