The only vice presidential debate of the 2016 election is Tuesday and there are several watch parties around Las Vegas for those interested.
Democratic nominee Tim Kaine and Republican nominee Mike Pence will face each other starting at 6 p.m. and is scheduled for 90 minutes. It will be held at Longwood University in Farmville, Va.
The Clark County Republican Party is hosting a viewing party at N?CHE Restaurant & Ultra Lounge at Town Square from 5 to 10 p.m. The Clark County GOP and 790 Talk Now are teaming up for this event. Seating is limited. Tickets are $30 for admittance, which gets you a sandwich and a soft drink. They can be purchased here.
The Nevada Republican Party is hosting watch parties around Southern Nevada.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend join Hillary for Nevada to host an office vice presidential debate watch party. It will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Pearson Community Center. The public can RSVP here. Teigen and Legend are hosting a voter registration event at UNLV at 1 p.m. Tuesday and will participate in a rally for Hillary Clinton with Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Catherine Cortez Masto at Springs Preserve at 4 p.m.

Martin Luther King Blvd., Las Vegas, at 5:30 p.m. This event will feature a taco truck on our corner and fun activities.
UNLV is hosting a vice-presidential debate watch event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the ballroom. Food, a live DJ, debate swag, and raffle prizes. The debates will be followed by panel discussions featuring UNLV experts answering questions that help attendees better understand the candidates’ viewpoints. Moderator: UNLV debate team coach Jacob Thompson. Panelists: Dr. Ted Jelen (UNLV, Political Science) and Robert Lang (Brookings Mountain West). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The final presidential debate will be at UNLV on Oct. 19.
