In preparation for the Nevada caucuses next month, a special training session was held Saturday at Spring Valley High School.
The Nevada Democratic Party hosted trainings across the state to simulate the caucus process, demonstrate new online caucus tools and prepare volunteers for how to run their local precinct caucus on Caucus Day.
Nevada will be the first western state and the third state in the country to make its voice heard in the Democratic presidential primary.
The Democrats hold their caucus on Feb. 20 while the Republicans are on Feb. 23.
