Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval has endorsed John Kasich for president.
The Ohio Republican governor announced the endorsement Saturday afternoon. Sandoval will also be the campaign's national co-chair.
"John Kasich is the only candidate in the race with a real plan to deliver results, and he is the only Republican who can defeat Hillary Clinton in the fall," Sandoval said in his endorsement.

Initially, Sandoval had said he would support whoever ended up being the Republican nominee. Then just days ago, he said he was reconsidering that and also that Donald Trump "really concerned" him.
Both Sandoval and Kasich were elected the governors of their respective states in 2010.
"Gov. Kasich and I entered office at the same time with the same primary objective: to put people back to work," Sandoval said. "Under John Kasich's leadership, Ohio's economy has undergone an incredible transformation. Over 425,000 jobs have returned to the state and people have hope again."
While Kasich said he was "grateful and honored" to receive Sandoval's endorsement.
"Gov. Sandoval has turned things around in Nevada just like we've done in Ohio," Kasich said. "Under his leadership, Nevada's unemployment rate has fallen from over 14 percent to 5.8 percent."
