LAS VEGAS (AP) — Former Vice President Joe Biden is slamming one of his Democratic presidential rivals on gun control. Biden faulted Bernie Sanders' past opposition to some gun-control legislation, during Biden's emotional event with gun-control activists in Las Vegas on Thursday.
Biden cites Sanders' opposition to the 1993 Brady Bill. Biden said he thinks politicians who oppose gun control are "cowards."
But he failed to answer questions from reporters about whether he thought Sanders himself was a coward. Biden also acknowledged Sanders' statements that Sanders has changed his mind on some gun measures.
