Action News is learning details about the murder of a Henderson father who police say was killed by his own son.

According to the arrest report, Mbayi Ngenza, 68, was shot in the head.  Henderson police discovered Ngenza's body under the bed of his son, 21-year-old Eugene Tshiyombo.

The shooting happened at the family's home near Paseo Verde and Green Valley parkways last week.

Investigators believe the deadly confrontation began with a common dispute between father and son.

According to Henderson police, Tshiyombo said he was not a very social person but his father expected him to be out doing things.

The UNLV senior stated he preferred to sit in his room playing video games.

The arrest report details frantic moments inside the home as Tshiyombo's mom tried to find her missing husband.

She called police first to file a missing person report.

A few hours later, the horrified woman called cops again after finding a bloody pillow.

A firearm was recovered in the suspect's room, said police.

Tshiyombo is due in court Wednesday.
