Police seeking person of interest in homicide

Around 4:20 a.m. on May 3, Las Vegas patrol officers were dispatched to the valet area of the Paris Hotel and Casino to investigate a report of an injured man down on the ground.
 
Arriving officers discovered an adult male in the valet area suffering from an apparent head injury. The male was transported to the UMC Trauma Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
 
The investigation initiated by the Violent Crimes Section and the Homicide Section indicated the victim was involved in a physical altercation with a black male adult, where he was punched, fell to the ground, and lost consciousness.
 
Investigators are seeking the occupants of two particular vehicles that left the scene after the incident.
 

One vehicle was described as a red smaller 4-door crossover type vehicle that had a sun roof or a moon roof.
 
This vehicle was being driven by a male and had a female passenger. The second vehicle was described as a 4-door white Chevrolet Impala with a sun roof that was driven by a female.
 
The victim was later identified as 27-year-old Dashawn Antwon Fouch Hawkins of San Jose, California, by the Clark County coroner.
 
Detectives are now looking to identify a person of interest related to this homicide investigation.
 
The subject is described as a black male adult in his 20’s, having a large build, and standing 5’ 10” to 6’ 1” tall. He has dark hair with dreads locks.
