Police seek cab driver robbery suspects

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for two men who pistol-whipped and robbed a cab driver on May 27. 

A taxi cab driver picked up two men from a gas station in the 2900 block of East Tropicana Boulevard. The driver brought them to an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Cambridge Street. The suspects exited the cab without paying and the driver confronted them. The taller suspect had a black small-frame handgun and pistol-whipped the driver. The driver fought with the two men, who took the driver's wallet. 

The suspects were last seen running westbound from the area. They are described as:

  • Black adult male in his 20s, 6'4" tall and 160 pounds, wearing black long-sleeved shirt, black pants and blue and yellow baseball cap.
  • Black adult male in his 20s, 5'4" tall and 150 pounds, wearing blue Nike t-shirt, blue jeans and blue bandanna.
