LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police, as well as Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, are investigating a crash involving four cars and a bus at West Lake Mead Boulevard and Summit Hills Lane.

Officers say the suspected driver was under the influence when she crashed into RTC bus on Lake Mead Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says the driver crashed her Pontiac when she was heading eastbound on Lake Mead, swerving in and out of traffic.

The suspected driver crashed into an RTC bus that was attempting to head southbound.

LVMPD also says the women crossed into the center lane and hit another vehicle causing a chain reaction.

A total of five vehicles were involved including the RTC bus.

Nine people were taken to the hospital, two of them are in critical condition.

West Lake Mead Boulevard was closed for about three-and-a-half hours from North Tonopah Drive to Comstock Drive.
