A feud between a valley man and his HOA president ended in gunfire near Alta Drive and Cimarron Road last week.

Surveillance video obtained by 13 Action News shows the terrifying moments last Wednesday night.

"I heard the first shot, and then I just dove out of the way," said witness Katherine Bensoni.

Bensoni, and her husband David, were some of the neighbors in the line of fire.

"Oh, I was scared," said David Bensoni.

Police identify the suspected shooter as Eric Leroy.  The 33 year old is in custody facing charges including attempted murder.  He is accused of firing three shots at the victim, Tim Rose.

Off-camera, 13 Action News spoke with Rose. Rose was grazed in the face and shot in the leg; however, he is recovering.

According to an arrest report, the suspect told police Rose had threatened his life and had it in for him.

Neighbors said Leroy appeared troubled in recent weeks.

13 Action News has requested a jailhouse interview with Leroy.  He is set to face a judge Wednesday morning.
