Police are working to gather more information to determine what led to the death of a local child.
Investigators say the call came in around 9:47 a.m. on Thursday from a residence near North Las Vegas and Lamb Boulevards.
The child was transported to UMC Pediatrics and was pronounced dead.
The abuse and neglect units are also investigating. The coroner has not yet revealed the identity of the child, or cause of death.
