FEB. 12 UPDATE: The Clark County Coroner identified the man killed on Saturday as 30-year-old Jeremy James Geathers. No city of residence was listed.
Geathers is a former UNLV football player and is the son of former NFL defensive lineman James "Jumpy" Geathers.
ORIGINAL STORY
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A pedestrian was hit by a limousine around 6:27 a.m. Saturday on Las Vegas Boulevard north of Circus Circus Drive.
Emergency crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The driver of the limousine remained at the crash site.
An investigation indicated that the pedestrian was not using a crosswalk and was not at an intersection when the collision occurred.
