UPDATE 12:30 P.M. JULY 24: 30-year-old Daniel Lovato has been arrested for driving under the influence after a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday night.
Police say that several vehicles were stopped at a light at Stewart Avenue and Christy Lane when a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Lovato hit a Mercedes and setting off a chain reaction. The other cars involved included a Jeep Wrangler, Ford Fusion, Nissan Titan and Mercedes Benz C-Class.
The 21-year-old male driver of the Ford Fusion and another 23-year-old male were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
No one in the Jeep Wrangler, including a 4-year-old boy and 1-year-old girl, were injured.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash in the east part of the valley.
The crash happened near Christy Lane and Stewart Avenue around 9:45 on Tuesday night.
As of 11:30 p.m., road closures remained in effect in the area.
