UPDATE: Police say a woman was shot multiple times after she answered a knock on her apartment door. She was transported to Sunrise Trauma where she died. No one has been arrested at this time.
Police say that other people in the apartment heard the gunshots, but did not see the suspect or suspects.
The victim will be identified by the Clark County coroner after relatives have been notified. This is the 63rd homicide in Las Vegas this year.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- An apartment complex was blocked off Wednesday night for police activity.
There are reports of a shooting at the complex near Cambridge Street and Twain Avenue around 10:30 p.m.
