Investigators believe the male victim, who was not armed, was shot twice. It appears the man tried to run away from the shooter, said Lt. Dan McGrath.
The suspect is only described as a 6 foot tall man with a thin build in a dark colored hoodie. No one has been taken into custody.
Detectives have interviewed nearly a dozen witnesses. They are also canvassing the shopping center for surveillance videos.
13 Action News spoke with people who say they knew the victim.
They say they hope their loved one was not the one killed, but that is what they were told by witnesses. The Clark County coroner will positively identify the man killed.
