LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A woman died at the hospital days after a single-vehicle crash on the fifth floor of the Paris hotel-casino parking garage in Las Vegas, according to police.

The crash happened on Thursday shortly after 10 p.m. Police say a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer hit a block wall of the garage.

The driver, identified by police as 39-year-old Scott Thomas from Montclair, California, is accused by authorities of being impaired at the time and was later arrested for driving under the influence.

Three passengers in the car, including the woman who later died, were transported to Sunrise Hospital.

Three days after the crash, the 43-year-old passenger died at the hospital. Her identity will be released by the coroner's office.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Fatal Detail was not requested and did not respond to the scene, the department says.

Her death marks the 88th traffic-related death in the LVMPD's jurisdiction for the year 2020.

The crash remains under investigation.
