A person is expected to survive a shooting Sunday afternoon.
Police responded to the shooting around 1:15 p.m. in the 5100 block of East Tropicana Avenue, near Nellis Boulevard. The person shot has non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are investigating the shooting. No other details have been released.
