A person was shot in a Walmart parking lot near Charleston Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive on Thursday night.
Police say there was some sort of confrontation between the victim and shooter before the incident.
The shooter took off and the victim drove themselves to a nearby neighborhood before seeking assistance.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
