An American Airlines flight was held briefly before departing McCarran International Airport after a passenger was allegedly in possession of narcotics.
American Airlines Flight 436 was heading to Charlotte, N.C., around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. It was scheduled to arrive in Charlotte on time at 4:10 p.m. despite the police activity.
The passenger in question is in police custody. Police found heroin on him.
Las Vegas police and Transportation Security Administration officials are investigating.
