A motorcycle and a party bus were involved in a crash on South Las Vegas Boulevard and Clark Avenue, near Fremont Street, around 10:08 p.m. on April 19.

The party bus, a 2017 Ford Econoline E450, was traveling north on Las Vegas Boulevard and attempting a left turn at onto Clark Avenue when it crashed into a 2003 Yamaha R6 motorcycle traveling southbound on Las Vegas Boulevard. The motorcycle failed to stop for a red light and the front of the motorcycle hit the right side of the bus.

The motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike and sent into the roadway.  Officers say the rider sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently listed in critical condition at UMC Trauma.

The bus driver sustained minor injuries and didn't show any signs of impairment.
