A man was shot to death Monday night at an apartment complex near Karen and Lamb.
Police say the man was in his 20s. They called it a brazen shooting because the suspect shot multiple rounds, firing into a nearby car and an unrelated apartment. A child under the age of 12 years old picked up one of the bullets inside the apartment.
Police say they hardly have any suspect information. They don't have a good description and they don't know which direction he took off in.
Police say the victim had some gang ties but they are still trying to figure out if the homicide was gang related.
