Around 4 a.m. Wednesday, a 20-year-old male approached police officers and reported that he had been shot.
The victim says the shooting took place near Bruce Street and Foremaster Lane.
The suspect was last seen getting into a black four-door vehicle in an unknown direction of travel.
The victim was transported to the hospital. His injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
Police shut down Bruce Street in both directions between Owens Avenue and Searles Avenue while conducting an investigation. The road is back open.
