Officer Anthony Guerrero and Sergeant Wade Barnett received Clark County medals for their heroic actions during a shooting that took place at a Venetian company picnic on April 15.

Officer Guerrero and Sergeant Barnett were the first from the Clark County Park Police squad to arrive on scene that day. They were able to quickly determined there was no further threat and assisted to the two victims who were shot.
For their quick actions Commissioner Jim Gibson issued them both medals for exemplary service at the Board of County Commissioners meeting on May 15.
