LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — If your child rides a bike or roller skates without a helmet, it could cost you.
Legislators in Carson City are considering a bill that would require anyone under 17 to wear a helmet.
Under the proposal, the first offense would be a warning.
After that, there would be a $15 fine that can be waived if a parent proves to the court they bought a helmet.
