Numerous Strip resorts celebrate Earth Hour

On March 19 at 8:30 p.m. many of the bright lights along the Las Vegas Strip turned off their lights during WWF’s 10th annual Earth Hour.

Every year, people, landmarks, cities and businesses from around the globe participate in Earth Hour to draw attention to the urgent need to address climate change.

On Earth Hour, supporters are not only encouraged to flip the switch, but are also invited to activate their networks on social media to inspire a movement to change climate change and stop the worst effects of a warming world.
