North Las Vegas police officers will be conducting a pedestrian safety event on Monday.
The event will be from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will be targeting drivers who fail to yield for pedestrians and pedestrians who do not cross streets in a safe and legal manner.
A similar event was held Friday. These events are made possible by a Pedestrian Safety Grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
