UPDATE: The North Las Vegas Police Department reported that Sonny Pennington has been found safe and unharmed around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- North Las Vegas police are asking for help locating a boy who went missing from school on Monday.
 
Sonny Boy Pennington, 11, was last seen at Tom Williams Elementary School, around Belmont Street and Tonopah Avenue around 2:30 p.m. on April 25.
 
His family says that Sonny has a learning disability and functions at the level of a 6-year-old child. Sonny is described as a Hispanic male 4 feet 2 inches and 60 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue polo shirt, blue jeans and grey shoes. He has a mole on his right shoulder blade.
