A fire official says no active flame is seen, and crews are nearing 80 percent containment of a wildfire that swept over nearly 200 square miles of rangeland between the northern Nevada town of Battle Mountain and the Idaho state line.

Fire spokeswoman Robyn Broyles said Wednesday that no injuries were reported among the more than 500 people who battled the fire sparked by lightning on Saturday near the small mining town of Midas.

An evacuation order for Midas was lifted Tuesday and power was restored Wednesday.

Broyles says crews are now breaking down a base camp at a rodeo grounds, and aerial surveys are being made to identify rehabilitation needs in the 122,000-acre burn area.

The fire had threatened priority sage grouse habitat and a number of mining structures.
