LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Thursday night marked the 8th consecutive evening of gatherings and protests in Las Vegas after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

About 50 to 100 Black Lives Matter protesters gathered on the Strip, and much like Wednesday night, protesters were working hand in hand with the police while remaining peaceful.

The protesters walked on Las Vegas Boulevard from Tropicana Avenue and stopped to kneel in front of the iconic Bellagio fountains while chanting, "I Can't Breathe."

Thursday's organizer's told 13 Action News that peaceful protests will hopefully lead to real change.
