Nevada Highway Patrol is reminding drivers it's the law to slow down and move over when you see flashing lights or vehicles stopped on the side of the road.
In a tweet, NHP Northern Command says a trooper who was involved in a road-side accident wasn't seriously hurt but the crash could have been prevented.
🚨 Yet another reminder from us to SLOW DOWN + MOVE OVER when you see flashing lights and vehicles stopped on the side of the road. This isn’t a courtesy. It’s the law. Luckily, our Trooper isn’t seriously injured but this crash was 100% preventable.🚨 pic.twitter.com/5kcUdhWDZ1
