LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to an early morning crash on Lake Mead Boulevard in the east part of town Thursday morning.

Troopers said they received a call about a crash on Lake Mead Boulevard east of Los Feliz Street at about 3:45 a.m.

The crash involved two pedestrians and three vehicles. The two people were stopped and outside of their vehicle when they were struck by a Hyundai Accent that also hit their Ford pickup and a Lincoln SUV.

NHP said troopers are currently on the lookout for that light-colored Lincoln SUV as it left the scene after the collision. Authorities say it should have substantial body damage.

The driver of the Accent stayed at the scene but the woman who was hit by the vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

It was not immediately known what the two individuals were doing outside of their vehicle or where they were exactly stopped at before the time of the crash. But NHP says the area does not have a lot of street lights.

Anyone with further details was urged to contact the Nevada Highway Patrol or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
