2:15 P.M.

A garage fire displaced an adult and a child and caused $100,000 in damage to a home on Willowridge Court, near Durango Drive and the 215 beltway. The fire happened around 8:20 a.m. Fire officials are investigating the cause, but believe the fire started in an overheating car.

7:41 A.M.

UPDATE: Nevada Highway Patrol says the female driver of the Honda was arrested for suspected impairment after crashing into a semi-truck on the 215 beltway near the Airport Connector.

7:15 A.M.

A Honda vehicle crashes into a semi-truck carrying Christmas decorations on the 215 Beltway eastbound near the Airport Connector. Nevada Highway Patrol says the crash occurred around 6:38 a.m. A female driver of the Honda lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the semi-truck. The semi-truck's front axle came off and is disabled. Minor injuries have been reported. Troopers are investigating if impairment is a factor for the Honda driver. Lanes will be restricted as crews wait for a heavy duty tow truck.

6:30 A.M.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says newly developed homes sparked a 2-alarm fire near Fort Apache Road and Hacienda Avenue early this morning. The call came in around 5:15 a.m. Clark County Fire Department responded with assistance from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue. No injuries reported.
