Las Vegas breaking news for November 22, 2018

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for November 22, 2018.

8:20 P.M.

According to NV Energy's website, nearly 13,000 customers are without power in Henderson. The website says the cause is damage to equipment. The estimated time of restoration is 10:30 p.m. The outage was caused by a rodent inside equipment. 

3 A.M.

Children playing with a "fire source" set a home on fire overnight on Donna Street near Carey Avenue and 5th Street. The children are between the ages of 5 and 13. Everyone was able to escape home. Damage estimated $100K. 

12:30 A.M.

Two people are injured after a head-on collision near Pyle Avenue and Placid Street. Police say a 2006 Scion driven by a 37-year-old male was attempting to pass another car when it hit a 2007 Toyota, driving by a 39-year-old male. Both drivers were transported. It's believe the driver of the Scion may have been impaired.
