The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

5:49 P.M.
Crash at Gibson Road and 215 beltway west causing backups on 215 westbound from the I-515/U.S 95/93. both northbound and southbound. Use alternate routes if possible.

3:15 P.M.
Las Vegas police say that the barricade on Tattersall Place near Lamb and Las Vegas boulevards is over. The people involved have been taken into custody.

10:52 A.M.
Las Vegas police are on the scene of an open field barricade in the 4200 block of Tattersall Place. Lamb Boulevard is closed from Alexander to Las Vegas Boulevard. Police say two people with knives are refusing to obey commands.

7:22 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue is responding to a mobile home fire at 825 N. Lamb Boulevard. No injuries reported. However, 1 of the 3 people living in the mobile home has been arrested for arson in the first degree. Damage is estimated at $50K.

UPDATE 7:09 A.M.
Las Vegas police say detectives are responding to a shooting on Kari Lee Court, near Rainbow and Charleston boulevards. A woman was shot at least one time and was transported to the hospital in critical condition, authorities say. A man was taken into custody. Details that of what led up to the shooting are unknown at this time. The incident remains under investigation.

6:50 A.M.
There is some police activity near Rainbow and Charleston boulevards. The area blocked off. Check back for updates as soon as we have more information from authorities.
