The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

10:20 P.M.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Watch Commander reports that a LVMPD mounted police were patrolling in front of Caesars Palace when one of the horses was struck from behind by a vehicle. Neither horse nor officer were injured in the collision and the driver is not suspected to have been impaired.

2:15 P.M.
A person is threatening to jump from a structure near Stewart Avenue and Casino Center in downtown Las Vegas. Binion's hotel-casino has closed its garage and road closures are in effect. Drivers should avoid area if possible.

10:40 A.M.
Fire crews are responding to an incident at Boulder City Airport. The city says a plane had trouble with its landing gear just before 10 a.m. Crew are still on the scene because of fuel leakage. No injuries to report and no impact to traffic at the airport.

6:46 A.M.
Police are looking for two women after a robbery at a gas station on Tropicana Avenue and Koval Lane. Officers say a man had his wallet, keys, and car stolen by the women. Police are searching for a royal blue 2018 Mercedes SUV with NV plate 646E55. Anyone who spots the vehicle is encouraged to call police immediately.

UPDATE 5:44 A.M.:
Police say the scene is clear at Cornerstone Crossing Apartments on Washington Avenue after a woman was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound early this morning.

1:10 A.M.
Police say they found a woman with a gunshot wound to her head at Cornerstone Crossing Apartments at 6666 W. Washington Avenue.

OVERNIGHT
Police are investigating a shooting near Commerce and Utah streets.
