LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:45 P.M.
Las Vegas police and SWAT are on the scene of a barricade in the 3800 block of Cambridge Street near Twain Avenue and Maryland Parkway. Police say the situation began with a search warrant at approximately 4:42 p.m. SWAT was called in to handle negotiations after a person inside of an apartment refused to come out. Surrounding apartments have been evacuated.

12:15 P.M.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a brush fire at the Sloan shooting area. Crews were able to contain the fire to about 2 acres.

5:49 A.M.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment building located at 1130 Toni Ave. Crews were able to contain the fire to one apartment with no injuries reported and the American Red Cross assisting two people.
