This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for May 12, 2018.\

11 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 3400 block of Big Sur Drive near East Desert Inn Road and South Nellis Boulevard. One suspect has been shot and no officers have been reported injured.

1:24 P.M.

A man is dead following an argument with a woman near Lindell Road and Harmon Avenue. Las Vegas police say the two were reported fighting on the 5300 block of River Glen Drive. READ MORE.

9:16 A.M.

A driver is dead following a crash near Lamb Boulevard and Boulder Highway around 3:44 a.m. Las Vegas police say the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit another vehicle and then collided into a pony wall of a convenient store.

4:00 A.M.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue along with Clark County Fire Department responded to a vacant building fire near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue around 1:30 a.m. The fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damages and it's believed that squatters were using the building according to officials.
