The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:15 P.M.
LVMPD is currently investigating an officer involved shooting near Boulder Highway and East Russell Road. This is an active scene, please avoid the area. READ MORE

Police involved shooting near Boulder Highway in Las Vegas

7:49 P.M.
Clark County Fire Department as well as units from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue and North Las Vegas responded to a reported garage on fire at 5215 Branch Court. The High Level Building fire received a first alarm response including 4 Engines, 1 Truck Company, 2 Rescues, 2 Battalion Chiefs and an Air Resource unit.

First arriving crews reported a fully involved two car garage on fire and began an offensive attack. A search of residence revealed the building had been vacant. The fire was reported knocked down at 2007. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

5:23 P.M.

UPDATE (5/14/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 19-year-old Mauricio Gaston from Las Vegas. His cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, a homicide.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a homicide in the area of 361 North Nellis Boulevard near East Bonanza Road. Avoid the area.

Deadly shooting in Las Vegas

12:18 P.M.
The RTC reports a water main break on Decatur Boulevard southbound near Spring Mountain Road. The right lane is blocked, expect delays.

11:16 A.M.
Lake Mead says the Willow Beach parking area is full.
