This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for June 5, 2018.

6:10 P.M.

Police say the condition of the woman who was discovered with a gunshot wound near the Clark County Government Center has been upgraded. She is no longer considered to be in critical condition. 

5:30 P.M.

A body was found this afternoon near the Costco store located at near Decatur Boulevard and Rome. The death appears to be by natural causes at this time. Not sure how long the person was there before discovery. Police say the person was a transient. 

5:22 P.M.

Police are investigating death of woman at Desert Star Motel near Las Vegas and Charleston boulevards. It was reported at 4:51 p.m. Police say that someone was seen running from the scene. Police say the woman suffered severe head trauma. She will be identified by the coroner. 

Police told the press shortly after 6 p.m. that a man has been arrested. A loaded crossbow was found in the motel room.

4:45 P.M.

Police are reporting that a woman has been shot near Bonneville and Main Street near the Clark County Government Center. The shooting was reported around 4:29 p.m. Road closures are in effect. The woman was shot in the head and is in critical condition. No arrests have been made. 

2:30 P.M.

Homicide detectives are now involved in the investigation at Wetlands Park. A man's body was found at the park on Tuesday morning. 

10:18 A.M.

A man's body was found Tuesday morning near a trail at Wetlands Park, 7050 Wetlands Park Lane. Police say they received a call about a man who was "slumped over." He was pronounced dead at the park. Homicide detectives were notified but not investigating at this time. 

7:50 A.M.

Several cars were involved in a crash on southbound Interstate 15 near Lake Mead Boulevard. At least one lane is closed and traffic is backed up to Cheyenne Boulevard. 

OVERNIGHT

A fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Nellis Boulevard and Sun Valley Drive near Harmon Avenue at 9:20 p.m. June 4.  

Officers say a 2006 Honda CBR motorcycle was traveling southbound on Nellis Boulevard at a high rate of speed. As the motorcycle approached the intersection at Sun Valley Drive, he failed to slow down and rear­ ended a Toyota Tacoma that was stopped at a stop sign.  

The 34-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The 34-year-old driver of the Toyota and two children, ages 9 and 7, were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
