The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:20 P.M.
SILVER ALERT: Authorities have issued an alert for Oscar G Perez, 85-year-old man 170lbs 5' 8" and suffers dementia. If you see a Green 1997 Ford Truck with Nevada license plate 458SFS you are asked to contact the police.

Update: The motorcycle rider involved in the crash on Lowery Street and Boulder Highway has been identified as 27 year old Damien James Gibbs of Henderson.

6:15 P.M.
Henderson Police are currently investigating a vehicle crash involving injuries. Please avoid the area of Lowery Street and Boulder Highway for about the next 2-3 hours.

Henderson Police and Fire Department are both on the scene.

Police say that preliminarily, it does not appear speed or alcohol to be factors in the crash.

Traffic is being diverted from northbound Boulder Highway to a nearby northbound service road.

As this is an active investigation, police say no further information will be provided at this time.
