Las Vegas breaking news for January 31, 2018

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for January 31, 2018.

7:26 P.M.

Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest near the 8500 block of West Sahara Avenue. Police say the shooting happened around 6:11 p.m. There is no information regarding any suspects. This is an on-going investigation.

12:51 P.M.

First responders are reporting minor injuries after a vehicle rear-ended an RTC bus near Sahara Avenue and Arville Street. 

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue tweeted about the incident at 12:24 p.m.

At least one person has been taken to the hospital, and two more ambulances have been called to the scene. No other details are available at this time.
