The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

5:32 P.M.
Las Vegas police say there was a group of 150 to 200 juveniles inside Meadows Mall who became rowdy when they were denied access to a business. Several fights broke out among the juveniles, prompting a police response. READ MORE.

4:31 P.M.
The Regional Transportation Commission is reporting police activity on Las Vegas Boulevard southbound at U.2. 95 ramps. Intersection right lane blocked, expect delays.

9:18 A.M.
UPDATE JAN. 19: The Clark County Coroner has identified the deceased man as 23-year-old David Taing from Las Vegas. His cause and manner of death are still pending the autopsy results.

Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash overnight in the south part of the valley near Pebble and Manalang roads

Police say a Toyota Camry was speeding westbound on Pebble Road around 1:30 a.m. when it hit a curb and left the roadway. The car then hit a cement-block wall on the northwest corner of the intersection. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. Their death marks the 7th traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2021 and is currently under investigation. The deceased's age and identity will be released by the coroner's office.
