11 P.M.
Nevada Highway Patrol reports a deadly crash on US-93 southbound involving a semi truck and a pickup truck north of the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 9:50 P.M.
Las Vegas firefighters say nearly 75 people and eight pets are displaced following a fire at Rancho Verde Apartments shortly after 6 p.m. READ MORE

6:12 P.M.
Las Vegas firefighters responded to a fire at Rancho Verde Apartments on Martin Luther King Boulevard near the US-95 and Interstate 15 shortly after 6 p.m. There are no injuries to report, authorities say. The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.

5:50 P.M.
Crews are on the scene of a deadly crash near Durango and Desert Inn Road. Police say the crash involves five or more vehicles, but did not specify how many deaths. READ MORE

UPDATE 5:09 P.M.
North Las Vegas police have cleared the scene. Responding officers say there was an empty bag that prompted the suspicious package call near Rancho Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard. No threats were found, authorities say.

4:45 P.M.
North Las Vegas police are responding to a suspicious package call near Rancho Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard. Officials are just now arriving on scene, check back for updates.

7 A.M.
Nevada DOT just tweeted that the southbound lanes at mile marker 1 have reopened. The Cajon Pass is still closed. Alternative routes are suggested.

6:25 A.M.
Nevada Department of Transportation is reporting that Interstate 15 southbound into California is closed at Mile Marker 1 due to heavy snow conditions in California. Interstate 15 is currently closed in both directions through the Cajon Pass.

North Las Vegas firefighters are on the scene of a house fire at 804 E. Tonopah Ave. near Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
