11:25 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal traffic collision at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Pebble Road.

5 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating after a 14-year-old was shot in the 5200 block of Cold River Avenue, near Alexander and Bradley roads. Police said the teen was transported to University Medical Center and is still alive after the self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police did not say whether it was intentional or accidental.

4:30 P.M.

Southern Nevada law enforcement are investigating skeletal human remains found near the Clark/Nye county line with the nearest address of 1 Wheeler Pass Road, east of Pahrump. The Nye County Sheriff's Office initially found the remains and called Las Vegas police because the remains were just on the Clark County side of the county line. Las Vegas police says it appears the remains have been there a while.

11:30 A.M.

Around 2,080 customers, mostly residential, lost natural gas service in the area of Wigwam Parkway and Jessup Road, east of Eastern Avenue in Henderson. Southwest Gas reported that a contractor was doing routine inspections of gas lines in the area and found a leak. To repair the leak, Southwest Gas shut off natural gas flow to the area. Crews are on scene to make repairs. There is no estimated time of when gas service will be restored.

2:05 A.M.

A man fired two shots out of his downstairs apartment in the Liberty Village complex, near Gowan Road and Nellis Boulevard. He was then taken into custody by police. No injuries were reported at the scene and it is still unknown as to why he discharged his firearm. The case is being classified as an "illegal shooting."

1 A.M.

Las Vegas police said a man used a stun gun on a Lyft driver early Wednesday near Eastern Avenue and Flamingo Road. Police said the man got mad at the Lyft driver, reached from the backseat and hit the driver with the stun gun. The suspect reportedly took off on foot while the Lyft driver refused medical attention.
